Areas of law
Social law, by your side
Maître Fanny Binard concentrates her practice on two complementary areas: employment law and social-security law. Matters that concern your job, your income and your protection — for workers and employers alike.
Employment law
Employment law governs the relationship between the worker and the employer, from hiring through to the end of the contract. Maître Binard acts on both sides of that relationship — for employees as well as employers — to head off a dispute, negotiate a solution or plead before the Labour Court.
What I handle
- Employment contracts: drafting, review and clauses (trial period, non-competition, mobility)
- Dismissal and resignation: challenge or handling, serious cause, manifestly unreasonable dismissal
- Severance pay, notice periods and end-of-contract documents (C4, certificates)
- Workplace accidents and occupational illnesses
- Unpaid wages, bonuses, commissions and holiday pay
- Harassment, discrimination and well-being at work
- Advice to employers: procedures, sanctions, reorganisations and conflict management
This list isn't exhaustive — if in doubt, get in touch.
Isn't your situation on this list?
Employment law and social security often overlap, and some cases touch on several aspects of both. Contact the practice: your situation will be examined and, if necessary, you will be directed to the right person.
